Meet Our Pediatricians
Sarah M. Christensen, M.D.
Originally from Oklahoma, Dr. Sarah Christensen completed her undergraduate education at Oklahoma State University and received her M.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1995. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma in 1998 and was offered a position as Chief Resident. Dr. Christensen has served in the past as Medical Director of Pediatrics for Providence Medford Medical Center and Women and Children’s Department Chair for Rogue Regional Medical Center. She also served as Chair of the Peer Review and Patient Safety Committee at RRMC and as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for Western University of Health Sciences. When not working she enjoys life in the Rogue Valley with her husband and two children.
Martin Young, M.D.
Dr. Young received his bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University in 1989 and his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1993. He went on to complete his pediatric residency at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He previously served as Women’s and Children’s chair for Rogue Regional Medical Center. His hobbies include snow skiing, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife and 9 children.
